To all of the families that we have served and those in the community that have lost a loved one this year, or in years past:
2020 has been especially difficult for families. Funeral Services have been restricted to very few attendees, no gatherings with families and friends, and a virus that has all of us worried and stressed. But whatever challenges we are faced with, Christmas always seems to offer us symbols of hope.
Right at this moment, many of our families are grieving and cannot have family or friends visit to help them through it. We may be not able to see our loved ones in person to hold their hand or hug each other, but thankfully, we still have technology that can bring them close to us. It is never enough but now it is all that we have.
We are all required to find new ways to connect and seek help for feelings of despair and sadness so that we can make it through this stronger and more resilient.
This year we will be unable to hold our Annual Candlelight Services of Remembrance or our Kids Christmas events but, we wanted to do something for our families.
We wanted you to know that we are thinking about you and care about you, especially those who may find themselves alone at this time.
We have decided that we will hold virtual events that may help give you some comfort.
