Zena Maud Hodgson of St. Albert, born on the family farm north of Lloydminster, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the age of 104 years with her family by her side.
Zena will always be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Reg and Ron (Bernadette) Hodgson of St. Albert–semicolon– three grandsons, Jamie (Jodie), Ryan (Jessica) and Jeff (Tiffany)–semicolon– eight great-grandchildren, Cole, Kellsey, Lane, Jimmy, Jenna, Jade, Faith and Summer–semicolon– her extended family and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Arthur–semicolon– brothers, Art, Harold and Roy and their wives.
A Celebration of Zena’s life will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 St., Edmonton on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Canon Trevor M. Elliott officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Zena’s memory may be made to: St. Luke’s Northminster, for the preservation of the 1906 rural Church, a central point of the Weaver family’s Christian faith, c/o St. John’s Minster Anglican Church, 4709 – 49 Ave., Lloydminster, SK, S9V 0T3.
