The lives of so many have been touched by the life and passing of Yvonna Romanow, a woman of limitless love, energy and compassion. Mourning her loss and celebrating her rich life of 91 years are: her husband of 65 years, Walter (Spike), sister Slawka, 4 children (Oksana, Martin, Lydia and Stephen and their partners), Grandsons (Brian, Evan and Brett and their partners), nieces, nephews, in-laws and a host of friends and acquaintances. Perpetually welcoming us through her open door, Yvonna loved, entertained and fed us all superbly—first in Saskatoon, then in Windsor and finally Edmonton. We absolutely adored her in return. An accomplished soprano, choir conductor, teacher, violinist, active board member, exceptional cook & gardener, Yvonna still created time to type papers, crochet, volunteer and actively support family, Ukrainian cultural, church and sorority activities. She was a true powerhouse of talent and energy. Deep thanks to you Yvonna for setting impeccable standards, for sharing your wisdom, and above all, for your everlasting love.
Sincere thanks to the attentive 6Y Staff at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre.
