Dear Wosar Family,
Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Wil. I am part of the Litschko family, a child of immigrant parents, just like Wil’s who travelled to Canada for a better life. I am one of three girls and have one brother. We grew up in the fifties and sixties and have very fond memories of our families getting together on many Sundays with wonderful suppers. Wil’s mother’s brother also had four boys. At any one time there could have been 12 children together not including adults. Those were the days!
Our very best wishes
Fran and Bill Metcalfe

I have known Willie since the 60”s” There were a group of us that hung out together from high school and I have remained friends with Willie ever since. Because I have lived in Vancouver since 1974 we didn”t see much of each other, But Willie came to visit on his motorcycle once in a while. He was always in peak condition and one memory of that was when we were playing hockey. I went to body check him and it was like hitting a brick wall. He never budged and I went down hitting the ice like a ton of bricks, he just stood there grinning, only as Willie could..I never attempted THAT again. My heart goes out to his Mother, lovely daughters, and brothers ……….I”ll miss him and his mischievous laugh………………..sincerely yours, Dave Hartman

Our deepest sympathy to Mrs Wosar and the family. The Wosar”s were neighbors of our family on Roland Road.

To the family of William Wosar (or as we remember him, “Willie”):
Please accept our belated condolences on Will”s passing. My Aunt & Uncle Malowany lived next to the Wosar”s home on Rowland Road. I spent a great deal of time there as a child and remember the boys as well as Mr. & Mrs. Wosar. As a matter of fact, Mr. Wosar (Sr) built our family home on 76 Street & 106 A. Avenue in Edmonton. I also wish to pass along sympathy wishes from my mom and sister (Helen and Dawn Shewchuk). We hope you find solace in 2014.
