Surrounded by her loving family, on the morning of August 16, 2015, the angels came to release Mom from the pain and suffering she endured from her short battle with cancer.
Left to cherish her memory with broken hearts is her beloved husband of 63 years, Peter–semicolon– children: Irene (Alex), Julie (Ken), Angie (Greg), Ed (Deanna), and Christie (Robert)–semicolon– grandchildren: Shawn (Nadine), Scott (Linda), Cody (Bailey), Ashley, Ryan (Pamela), Adam, Madison, Connor, Mackenzie, Megan, Zachary, and Jacob–semicolon– great grandson, Colten–semicolon– twin sister, Julie and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Mom always put her family before herself and her legacy will be the lessons of kindness and compassion that she taught us. It is a sad day on Earth, but a happy day in Heaven.
We would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at the Sturgeon General Hospital. Your kindness and compassion towards our Mom was greatly appreciated.
A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held to celebrate her life.
Memorial Donations may be made in Wilma’s name to Sturgeon General Hospital Foundation, 201 Boudreau Road, St. Albert, Alberta T8N 6C4.

I’m really sorry to hear this sad news.
When we met in 2001, it was a happy moment. I will always remember her kindness and beautiful smile. We do not share many memories but the ones I keep from the few hours I spent with the family are some of the best moments of my life and I sympathize with your loss.
