
Wayne passed away on the eve of September 6, 2016 aged 60, having said his final good-bye to his family after a short battle with cancer.
Left to mourn his loss are his sons, Jesse and Taylor of Edmonton–semicolon– sisters, Linda, Marilyn (Steve)–semicolon– brothers, Richard (Karen) and Barry, all of Ontario–semicolon– as well as many relatives, friends and fellow baseball enthusiasts from East Park and District 2 Little Leagues.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lorraine & Carl, and brother Paul.
As per Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life to honour Wayne will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016, at Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South Chapel, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton.
Donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or to the hospice at the Westview Health Centre in Stony Plain.
