Jewell, John “Wayne”
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Wayne on March 27, 2015 at the age of 71 years.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Myna.
Wayne was born in Drumheller, Alberta on July 12, 1943.
Wayne worked as a power lineman for Canadian Utilities/Alberta Power for 9 years and EPCOR for 30 years. In earlier years he enjoyed boating and flying (got his pilot’s license in 1980). He retired in October 2002. He enjoyed his retirement and loved traveling with his wife. They spent time in Mexico and Costa Rica every winter.
He is survived by his wife Myna, his sister Lynda (Peter) Baltgailis–semicolon– extended family and many friends.
Wayne was predeceased by his father Delbert, and his mother Rachel.
He lived large and will be missed by many. Forever In Our Hearts.
Following Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held.

Dear Myna
Our thoughts are with you. You and Wayne shared your lives and love. When I look at his picture a tear comes to my eye for it shows the happy guy Wayne always was. He was wonderful to work with at the Training Centre for D & T. He brought laughter and kindness daily. And you Myna are beautiful. Sending our love to you. Ann and Lawrence Wilson

Dear Myna,
Suzanne and I were saddened to learn of Wayne’s passing, and hope you are staying strong and smiling often when talking with your family and friends about him.
We always enjoyed seeing Wayne in the neighbourhood–he always smiled and waved hello whenever we saw him. Victor would always say “There’s Wayne!” with excitement when we approached home from an outing…because Wayne so often out in the yard. We will certainly fondly remember his friendliness and think of him.
