Walter was a man who enjoyed and appreciated the simple things in life. His greatest accomplishments were undoubtedly his marriage to wife Stephanie, his children and his grandchildren. A retired high school Mathematics Teacher, he was dedicated to both his profession and his family. Walter loved going for walks, having a beer, and visiting with family. He was a provider and able to raise six very successful children.
Walter’s courage and perseverance during his recent challenges was truly remarkable. A role model in how to deal with continuous obstacles, he will be so greatly missed.

As a family, we would like to take the opportunity to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to the nurses and doctors at the Grey Nuns Hospital on Units 43 and 44. The love and compassion shown towards Walter, and indeed to us all, is something we will hold dear in our hearts.
