With heavy hearts we announce Rev. Vijay Kumar Sabharwal Ji merged in almighty Nirankar at 1:16 PM on April 26th 2021 at Edmonton- AB, Canada.
He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife Shashi Sabharwal; his children, Samiksha (Shashi Kant), Ashish (Charu) and his grandchildren, Samdisha, Samnit, Samrta and Samhita. He is predeceased by his parents, Pindi Dass Sabharwal and Raj Rani Sabharwal; brothers, Gulshan, Bhupendra “Bekal”, Jaidev; sisters, Bimla and Geeta. His family was everything to him and he was immensely proud of them all.
Respected Vijay Ji was a kind man who would go over and beyond to do anything for his family and friends. He made a positive impact on everyone he connected with throughout his life. He was known for his generosity, selflessness and community service.
He was a veteran saint of Sant Nirankari Mission. He performed every sewa bestowed upon him by Satguru with complete dedication and devotion. He was blessed to be Gyan Pracharak, Member of Finance Committee, Incharge – Publications, Branch Incharge – Rohini, Sanyojak (Sector Incharge) – Delhi Sector 21, Manager – Sant Nirankari Public School – Avtar Enclave. He also performed sewa of Audits for all Sant Nirankari Public Schools in Delhi. During his service to the Mission spanning over six decades, he contributed by organizing uncountable Blood Donation Camps, Plantation Drives, Charitable Training and Embroidery Centres, Food Drives, established and run Charitable Dispensaries, several Free Eye Check-up Camps and bestowed divine knowledge (Brahm Gyan) to innumerable souls.
He was a lawyer by profession and enjoyed a successful and respectable career. He was highly regarded by the Lawyer Community in Delhi. He also got the opportunity to represent India as part of the official delegation of lawyers to Pakistan.
He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Visitation (Antim Darshan) will start at 9:00 am MST / 8:30 pm India time on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South Chapel, 4820 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton.
Due to Covid restrictions, only 20 guests can enter the building at a time. If there are already 20 people in the building when you arrive, you will be instructed to wait in your vehicles until some of the guests have left.
