With sadness the family announces the passing of Victor Warynycia, at his home at the age of 81years on March 23, 2012. A long time employee of the City of Edmonton Drinking Water Department, Vic retired in December of 1987
Victor is survived by his best friend and devoted wife, Adrienne, with whom they shared more than 58 years of marriage. Vic will be dearly missed by his daughter, Dianne, who provided him with loving care to the very end–semicolon– his sister, Annie, from Medicine Hat–semicolon– and children Jeannette (Steve), Marcella and Garry–semicolon–, nieces Sue Telford of Fort Saskatchewan, Edythe Boyer of India–semicolon– and nephew Rick Ylma of Foremost.
Vic was predeceased by his father William–semicolon– mother Julia–semicolon– brother Mike–semicolon– sister-in-law Betty–semicolon– brother-in-law Roy Vossler–semicolon– nephew James Vossler–semicolon– grand-nephew Tom Telford–semicolon– niece Darlene (Ylma) Reeves–semicolon– and most recently his oldest sister, Mary Ylma.
A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at St Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9003 – 153 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.
