It is with heavy hearts that the family and friends announce the untimely passing of Victor at the age of 74 at the University of Alberta Hospital.
Vic was born in Croft Dyke, Fife, Scotland to Mary Spark Wallace and Victor Bidzinski (senior). His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Susan of 50 years–semicolon– children Victor, Michelle (Jeff) Griffith, Todd (Audrey)–semicolon– grandsons Tyler, Calvin, Carter and granddaughter Dylan–semicolon– his brother and sisters: John (Barb), Stan (June), Barbara (John) Kirkland, Marie (Norman) Lavack, Martin (Margaret), Harold (Liz) and Richard (Melinda)–semicolon– sister-in- law Wendy (Glenn) Hudson–semicolon– and many nieces and nephews.
Vic was predeceased by his parents.
We will miss Victor for his love of family, faith and community. He was a gentleman, a statesman and a great man! Victor always put the needs of others before himself and could never say no.
Vic’s loves included golf, 50’s music, travelling, cleaning, sweets, a few drams of single malt scotch and all animals that the kids would bring around.
His accomplishments were many including: Elected Official Councillor of Strathcona County–semicolon– Real Estate Associate–semicolon– Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Sherwood Park and State Deputy for Alberta, NWT–semicolon– Active Rotary member and Past President–semicolon– President of Sherwood Park and Alberta Soccer Association–semicolon– Member of Strathcona County Community Hospital Foundation Board–semicolon– Parish Council board member of OLPH church, Vic will be missed by his many friends who all played a great part in his life.
Please join us at the Prayer Service on Tuesday, September 19 at 7:30 PM and Funeral Mass on Wednesday September 20 at 1:00 PM. Both will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help church at 13 Brower Drive in Sherwood Park.
