
MACK, Tommy Kwong
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather. On March 14, 2012, Tommy Mack passed away at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna–semicolon– children Judy (Paul) Wong, Jim (Debbie) Mack, Chris (Linda) Chan, Sandra Tocheniuk and Dennis (DeEtte) Mack–semicolon– and grandchildren, Samantha, Jonathan, Melina, Braydon, Michael, David, Sydney and Ethan. Tommy also leaves sister Debbie (Kim) Mack and sister-in-law Betty Mack. He was predeceased by brother Tony Mack and son-in-law Wayne Tocheniuk.
Tommy will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family, numerous relatives and many friends. We were blessed to have him in our lives for so many wonderful years. He will be remembered as a hardworking and caring man with a gentle spirit and sense of humour. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family, painting, practice of Qigong, keeping fit, travelling and volunteer work with numerous Chinese associations over the years.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital, Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and care. Special thanks to Dr. Madeleine Bodmer, Dr. Howard Evans and Dr. Scott North.
In keeping with Tommy’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 with interment to follow at Beechmont Cemetery.
