It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thyra Eleanor Patry on September 16, 2020 at the age of 98 years.
Terry will always be loved and never forgotten by her son, Don (Martha); two daughters, Pat (Jerry) Tymkow and Sherry (Gary) Dudinsky; grandchildren, Chris (Charlene), Katherine (John), Rob (Kendra), Jenn (Tim), Jeff (Brent), Sean (Michelle), Kim (Danny) and Brad; and her 10 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Louis Cecil in 2011.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no funeral. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 306, 10430 – 61 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, T6H 2J3.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Villa Marguerite and Benevolence Care Centre for their compassion and dedication.

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. As a child growing up I have fond memories of visiting all your family. Terry and your dad Cecil were loved by my mom, Anita. They were very much the same, with that Patry sense of how to have a good time with friends and family.
I know the devastation of Alzheimer’s and how hard it is to see someone you love fade away so slowly.
