I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo
whispering down the ways,
and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who
grieve, to dry before the sun
of happy memories that I leave
when life is done.

I wanted to send my love and condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. I was one of the nurses looking after Tom. I have to tell you that he was one of the sweetest people I could have met and I’m pleased to have had him in my care. He will forever be in my thoughts. Thank you and God bless.
