I was very sorry to hear this. Our physical world lost a good soul. I didn’t know Gooch like most, but what I did know of him was impressionable on me. He was always kind. That’s the way I remember him. I didn’t see him too often without the guitar in his hands.
A good Dude.
RIP Gooch!

I chase our ghosts around Melville, our old haunts, the music that made up our soundtrack. Love you Gooch, miss you everyday.

Was very surprised to read “Gooch” passed away, I always liked Steve as he was one of those friends you always liked having around so I always had time for him anytime he came over to talk to me, We knew each other since our teens and as adults we attended many of the same events, clubs and parties together.
I hope Steve and his family have saved that Bass we carved our names into as that was one of my most memorable nights of Steve unexpectedly asking us to all carve our names into it which is something I’ve never forgotten about or the many people who came up to me after Steve showed it to them always reminding me of that night.
You will be missed.
