My sympathies and prayers are with the Evron Sisters and Associates and all family members as you grieve the loss of a wonderful woman who touched the lives of many throughout her healthcare ministry. Mary Ellen exemplified compassionate leadership skills that brought the healing touch of Christ to others. May the memories you hold dear of this witness of Christ bring you closer to her contemplative spirit.

My deepest sympathies to the families and the sisters, I had the greatest pleasure of working with sister at the Bonnyville Health Centre, she was my mentor in my eyes, she was an incredible woman with so much compassion and wisdom. It was a great loss here when she moved to Edmonton but it is a greater loss with her gone. She is with her lord and master and I hope she can rest easy with no pain. She will be dearly missed. Forever remember

We would like to say what a wonderful person Sister Mary Ellen was. We got to know her in the Saint-Thomas french catholic community.
She offered much support to the development of the Francophone community center known as La Cité francophone d’Edmonton.

What a great legacy she leave behind as an understanding, caring and loving person and a devoted leader to her congregation and religious order.

May she be rewarded in heaven for all the good that she did on earth.

As you grieve the loss of this exemplary woman, please remember she has left a legacy of compassion and sincere caring for others. I enjoyed and appreciated working with her to bring better health care to Bonnyville. She was very instrumental in bringing the two hospitals together to enable the establishment of the great facility we have today.

My sincere sympathy to Sister Mary Ellen’s family and Religious Community. I worked with her at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the 1960’s – the best nursing “job” I ever had with Sister Mary Ellen as mentor and role model. I am ever grateful for her. May her soul rest in peace.

    Dear Godmother Sister Mary Ellen,
Thank you for your spiritual guidance & support since you took on that commitment upon my birth in Vegreville in 1957. I have no doubt your path of service & dedication was well underway when you took your vows in 1960, and that path made this physical world a far better place for us all. Rest easy in the arms of our Lord, and know you are always in my heart.
With all my love I remain
    Your Godson,
    Francis John Kuzyk.

My prayers & condolences go out to all of Sister Mary Ellen’s family both earthly and spiritual as she joins Him in his heavenly domain.
    John.

John I want you to know that Mary Ellen so wanted to thank you for the beautiful bouquet of flowers you sent her while she was at the Cross. She enjoyed them so much. We did not know how to contact you. A belated thanks from her and know she prayed for all her Godchildren every day and I’m sure will continue so in heaven.

Farewell to a Lady who left a mark on every heart she touched. My deepest sympathies to Sr. Mary Ellen’s family and friends. As with many others she was a mentor that I was privileged to work with and her spirit will remain with all who worked with her. I like to think that she is the spirit of the Bonnyville Health Centre as well, it brought that ambiance that everyone felt but no one could really describe. It was warm, welcoming, caring and you always felt like you were in good hands here. I will always celebrate Sr. Mary Ellen’s life and her legacy she left for all in her wake.
