Sister Claire passed away peacefully at Providence Center surrounded by her sister Anne-Marie and her husband–semicolon– son, Guy and by members of her religious Community.
She is survived by the members of her religious Community, the Sisters of Charity of N.D. Evron.
Sister Claire leaves to mourn her sisters, Henriette (Harvey), Lorraine (Robert), Anne Marie (Wilfrid)–semicolon– brother, André–semicolon– nieces, nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pamela and Albert Dargis–semicolon– brothers and sisters, Joseph, Alice, Laura, Isabelle, Raymond, Julien, Gustave OSB and Cecile.
Sr. Claire made her religious profession August 12, 1941. Most of Sr. Claire`s life was spent in education in Zénon Park, SK and secretarial work in Alberta. She was able to share her love for her French inheritance, culture and education with many people.
Since 2001 Sr. Claire lived in our infirmary at Residence Notre Dame and since 2012 in the Providence Center Infirmary. Our appreciation and gratitude go out to all of her caregivers, and especially at this time to the Sisters of Providence and their caregivers for their wonderful care.
