It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Scott McClelland of St Albert, Alberta. Scott was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on June 16, 2018 at the age of 37 years.
Scott was a very dedicated Christ follower who leaned heavily on God to carry him through his battle of cancer. We are comforted knowing he is now with our Lord and Savior.
Scott will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jennifer–semicolon– daughters, Chloe, Isabella and Teagan McClelland–semicolon– parents Rick (Georgina) McClelland and Gwen (Terry) Gilmer–semicolon– brother Greg (Kate) McClelland–semicolon– sister, Alysha (Junior) McClelland–semicolon– mother-in-law, Donna (Shane) Wade–semicolon– father-in-law, Garth Krom–semicolon– brother-in-law, Daniel (Tammy) Krom–semicolon– along with numerous relatives and friends.
In addition to his strong faith, family was the most important aspect of his life. Scott was the Rock of his immediate and extended family. He was a warm and caring person with incredible compassion and empathy for others and for those reasons and many others, people were drawn to him.
Scott was incredibly talented in many areas but an honorable mention is made to his artistry and his athleticism.
When Scott put his mind to something he made it happen. Whether it related to work, health, family, faith and everything in between.
A Celebration of life will be held at North Pointe Community Church, 14025 – 167 Avenue Edmonton, Alberta on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Cross Cancer and Sturgeon Community Hospital. Your caring and support for Scott will always be remembered.
A special thank you to ATB Financial, Dr Esau, and See See who supported Scott like family. Heartfelt thanks are also extended to neighbours, family, and friends for their support in all areas of need.
