
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Salvatore “Sam” Marocco of St. Albert with his family by his side on February 20, 2018 at the age of 80 years.
Salvatore will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Elisa–semicolon– children, Olga Marocco (Hugh), Rosie (Mike) Paonessa and Linda (Tony) Palladino–semicolon– cherished grandchildren, Michael, Lisa-Marie (Jeremy), Joseph, Miranda, Eric, Andrew and Lucas–semicolon– siblings, Sante (Alberta), Giuseppe (Assunta), Antonietta, Franco (Ferminia), Rita (Antonio) and Pietro (Irma)–semicolon– numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Olga and Mariano–semicolon– sister-in-law, Rosa and brother-in-law, Antonio.
A Prayer Service will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue, Edmonton.
Reverend George Puramadathil, CFIC will celebrate a Funeral Mass at Santa Maria Goretti Church on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum.
