Ruth lived a long and full life. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, nurse, piano teacher, church organist, choirist, wonderful homemaker and tireless volunteer.
A strong faith guided her and she assumed many volunteer roles at St. James and Assumption Catholic Churches. Her nursing career started before she was married and resumed in the 1970s at the Allen Grey. She loved working there and made many good friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Jubilee Lodge and Ottewell Lodge for their wonderful care. She really loved living at each place over the past 8 years.
