The family of Rose Rita Crough, of St. Albert, Alberta, are saddened to announce her passing on May 20, 2017 at the age of 94.
Rose was recently predeceased by her loving husband, Paul, on March 30, 2017. She will be forever missed by her children, Beverly Voigt, MaryAnn (Tom) O’Flaherty, Patricia (Stephen) Baltzer, Francis Crough, Dennis (Wilma) Crough, and Monica (Neil) McCullough–semicolon– 14 grandchildren–semicolon– and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Matilda Stinn–semicolon– sister, Joan Morris–semicolon– nephew, Brad Morris–semicolon– great-nephew, Corey Morris–semicolon– son-in-law, Bob Voigt–semicolon– and grandson, Bradley Baltzer.
Rose was strong in her Catholic faith, and for many years was active in the Catholic Women’s League. She helped support the family by working outside the home at the post office, lawyers office, and before her retirement, Agriculture Canada. She was the gentle, quiet soul who kept everyone organized–semicolon– always taking care of the details of family trips and get-togethers. She got no greater pleasure than fussing over her children and grandchildren. To many, Rose seemed quiet, but to her family she was full of humor, was a woman who expected the best from her children, and did everything she could for those she loved. She was the cement that held the family together and the one who taught us unconditional love.
