It is with great sadness the family of Mrs. Rose Goertz of Stony Plain, Alberta announces her passing on July 15, 2022.
Rose will be remembered for her love of bingo and visiting with family and friends. She was also very physically active, walking all over town at the age of 96. Rose’s mind was sharp, and she had a wonderful sense of humour.
Rose will be forever loved and missed by her husband of 72 years, Roland Goertz of Stony Plain; her children, Dennis (Beth) Goertz of Spruce Grove, Wayne (Dianne) Goertz of Stony Plain, Robert (Joan) Goertz of Stony Plain, Gary (Lisa) Goertz of Stony Plain, Wendy (Barry) Mallard of Stony Plain, Karen (Bruce) Bailie of Spruce Grove, Brian (Kerry) Goertz of Stony Plain; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She will also be missed by extended family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Rose’s life held on Friday, September 23, 2022, 1:00 pm at Stony Plain United Church, 5012 51 Avenue, Stony Plain, Alberta.
