On July 18, 2016 Rose de Lima Magnan passed away at the age of 88 years.
She is survived by her three loving daughters, Brigitte (John) Hewlett, Rosanne McNeil and Carmaine (Ian) Picken–semicolon– as well as extended family and numerous friends.
Mémère is survived by seven grandchildren, David (Antonia) Hewlett , Stephanie (Ray) Hope and Joanna McNeil, Sharla, Kyley (Brent) Malo, Jenessa (Kyle) Comeau and Cierra Picken–semicolon– eight great-grandchildren, Alyxandra and Caden Hewlett, Wyatt, Daxton and Danielle Hope, Jayden McNeil and Paityn and Archer Malo.
Rose was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Ernest (Ernie)–semicolon– two grandchildren, Kathryn Hewlett and Michael McNeil–semicolon– and eleven siblings. Mom was the last remaining member of her family (Hormidas and Léontine Hamel).
A Prayer Service will take place at 7:00 pm on July 21st, 2016 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on July 22nd, 2016, at St. Theresa’s Catholic Parish, 7508-29 Avenue, Edmonton, Aberta. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail NW, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rose Magnan may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
