Born in Edmonton on August 3, 1943 and died on September 23, 2016.
He is survived by his 3 loving children–semicolon– Darin (Joelle) Hopegood, Darrell (Leanne)Hopegood, and Michelle (Jeff) Evans–semicolon– 16 grandchildren: Alexie (Wolfram) Hummel, Karinne, Antoine, Mathieu, Isaac, Jeremiah, Jean, Benjamin, Jacob, Daniel,Marie-Rose, Sarah, Anna, Marc, Hannah and Joseph–semicolon– 1 great grandson, Gabriel.
He is predeceased by his mother, Alvena Strasbourg, and brother, Myles Hopegood.
He will be remembered dearly by his extended family and friends for his music, great sense of humour, generosity and love towards his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. We will always remember you with much love, Dad, Pepe, Grandpa Hopegood, Grand-Pepe.
