Grace and family, I am so sorry for your loss. We know the Lord had a special job for Bob to do on the other side in preparation for the Millennium. We seem to be losing a lot of good folks right now because the Millennium is going to happen soon. Hugs for all of you. I am grateful that I can watch the service on line. Do take care.

To Bob’s family….
I knew Bob as a friend in junior and senior high school in Winnipeg. He was a gentle, kind boy, super basketball player and an all-round really good guy. We lost touch after I moved to Calgary. How fortunate you all were to have him as a husband and father. I send you my sincere condolences and hope your fond memories of him will bring you peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Robert in St Albert many years ago. He was always so kind and gentle. My memories are of his patience as he workshopped teachers on LogoWriter when computers were just new. Cutting edge technology. I also remember him telling me how he delivered papers with his sons in the early morning. A good dad.😊

Dear Grace and Family.
We were so sorry to hear of Bob’s death. We remember so fondly the years that we served with “The Hoggs” in the temple. We are sorry that we couldn’t make it to the funeral–would love to see you sometime soon.

I am very saddened to hear of Robert’s passing. Although only two years older than me I considered him as a mentor when we were both with St. Albert Protestant Schools. He was so kind and generous with his time and sage advice at a time when I was finding my feet. I was fortunate to teach his children and I was to give my condolences to Johnathon in particular. Your father was a good man and I know that you be with him again and that he lives in your heart.

I had the privilege to teach French Immersion in Spruce Grove many years ago and Robert was my principal. He was like a pedagogical twin to me. Such a lovely person and I had the privilege to meet his family. I’m so sorry to hear his passing. I’m thinking of you all. He is in my heart forever. And you’re all in my prayer tonight. Bon voyage mon ami Robert!
James & Cindy Christensen says
Sister Grace Hogg, as you well know I have known you and Bob since the Winnipeg days, during my mother’s illness and passing, and you have kept your eyes on me and my family ever since. Thank you both for your steady and faithful examples, for your love and friendship.
I apologize for missing today’s service … I heard about it too late.
Again, thank you for your influence on my life. Love, James Christensen and, of course, Cindy.

Robert was a wonderful person, friend and “boss” (although he never made me feel like a subordinate). I so enjoyed working with him at AAC! Someone said that he had a face that smiled, and it was so true. I wish I could have made it to the service today, but Robert and his family have been in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you in your grief!

Dear Grace and children– We were so sad to hear of Robert’s sudden passing. What a great man he is. I recall his kindness and gentleness toward us as we worked at the temple and loved watching his tenderness toward you, Grace. He will be missed by so many but so grateful for Heavenly Father’s plan-to know where he is and that he will be watching over you there.

It is with great sadness that Lindsay and I found out about Robert Hogg death. He is instrumental of our life together when we were teaching at Queen Street school in Spruce Grove Alberta. Now living in Quebec, we remember him as a good man dedicated to his family and the well being of the kids and teachers of his school. RIP M. Hogg.
