It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Robert John Leslie Rogers, of St. Albert on 24 February 2022 at the age of eighty-five. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty-one years, Eyla; children Leland (Ann), Robynne (Garth), Fiona (Kris), and Faith; grandchildren David (Jess), Raechel (Tyler), Robert (Kim), Bryden (Danielle), Jennifer (Eric), Christine (William), Kate (John), Holly (Denis), Taniesha, Michael (Kelsey), Brianna, Daniel (Keira), Ceryssa, and Marcus; fourteen great grandchildren, his sister, Rosamary, and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Leland Leslie “Bud” and Esther Rogers, and his brothers, Ted Rogers, Jim Rogers, and Lee Rogers.
A private interment will take place on Friday, 4 March 2022, and a memorial service will be held later this year.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital for their care and compassion in Bob’s final illness, and to Dennis Dwyer for his kind and committed support and friendship in the past few years.
