
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden heart failure and passing of Colleen Dolan (nee Wallace) on December 3, 2015 at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, at the age of 87. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, William “Bill” Dolan.
Colleen was born June 8, 1928 to Frank and Alice Wallace (nee Kennedy), she was one of 6 children, Murray, Betty, Jack, Gerry and Michael, all of which have predeceased her. After being raised in Toronto, she permanently moved west to Edmonton in 1951 where she settled down with her first husband Charles “Chuck” Annable and raised six children. Mary Catherine Sitko (Morris), Charles H. Annable Jr., Michael John Annable (Janet), Colleen Marie Causey (Bob), Elizabeth Jane Humphries, Peter James Annable (Jane). She was predeceased by her stepson Cameron Dolan (Donna) in March 2013.
To celebrate her life, she has 15 grandchildren, Stephen Sitko (Joy), Karynanne Wolanski (David), Jon Sitko (Christa), Michael Annable (Christine), Kristin Annable (Brandon), Shawn Annable (Laura), Preston Radomsky (Erica), Justin Humphries (Jen), Adam Humphries, Nicholas Annable, Geoffery Annable (Suzanne), Marc Clermont, Michael Clermont, Brooke Dolan, and Dustin Dolan.
To her great joy she was also a part of the beautiful new lives of 11 Great-grandchildren, Luna, Cooper, Emma, Colby, Calla, Lucy, Claire, Stephanie, Payton, Grayden, and Jackson.
Colleen leaves many special friends. She will be sadly missed by all. Her sense of humor and zest for life had a huge impact on all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Colleen’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 9, at Connelly – McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street Edmonton.
