On February 12, Richard passed away peacefully, in the Sturgeon Hospital, at the age of 91.
He leaves to mourn his daughter, Mary (Dave) Cleveland of St. Albert–semicolon– his grandchildren, Liane (Richard) Finlay of St. Albert, David (Stacey) Cleveland of Penticton, B.C., Alison Wooller of England–semicolon– his great-grandchildren, Kayla and Jaidyn Finlay of St. Albert–semicolon– his one remaining sister, Doreen (Armand) Denicola of Prince George, B.C.–semicolon– his many nieces and nephews in B.C–semicolon– as well as Ed and Audrey Neal of Red Deer.
He was predeceased by his wife Edith.
Dad was a WWII vet who met and married Edith in England while serving as a Canadian soldier. For 35 years he was a paramedic in the Sussex area of England. He retired in 1985 and he and Edith returned to Canada where he spent the next 27 years enjoying life with friends and family.
He will be sorely missed.
A Memorial service is being planned for a later a date.
