Jason and family,
Though I did not know your dad well, only through Crossroads Christian Assembly, I was always impressed with his character that was apparent, especially as he cared for your mom through the years of her decline. I am so sad that you have lost both parents within such a short time span. May the Lord Jesus Christ comfort and strengthen all of you and may you look forward to the day of being reunited with them in heaven.

Jason,
I want to let you know that your dad meant a lot to me and my family not only because of his readiness to share his time but also because over the years he has become my best friend in Edmonton. When we first moved to Edmonton, your dad and mom were the first ones to show us around – Sylvan Lake, Millwoods, various other parts of the city. I even accompanied your dad to Redwater once.
Kuya Rey was our guide in Edmonton – he would without hesitation know where to go to find something, or to get something fixed. He was a man always on the go. But in spite of his very busy schedule, he was always generous with his time — checking in on my young family when I was on assignment in the Middle East. Even attending some of Matt’s and Steinar’s games in my stead.
I will miss my regular phone calls with your dad. Our calls were akin to those of long-time friends — you just pick up where you left off. The last time we spoke, we revived plans for him to visit NY; I wanted to show him around the city and the state during the summer.
Find strength and solace in imagining your parents having a good laugh with Kuya Bill in heaven. That will have to do until we see them again. And we will.
Tito Mike

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Rey. We were always greeted with a big smile and hey, how are you doing from Rey?! He always brought a big smile to faces when he came into the Century 21 office. I will always remember his smile, kindness and listening ear. May care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. My most sincere condolences.

I am so sorry to hear Rey has passed. I just recently thought of him since we both started working at Siemens so many years ago, maybe 1979. You were a great friend Rey, had my stag for me before I got married in 1983. Rest In Peace brother. Love you!
