It is with profound sadness that the family of Ray Der announce his passing on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the age of 65 years.
Ray will be missed and forever remembered with love by his wife Tina; son Curtis and daughter, Rebecca. He will also be missed by his brothers, Dick, Dennis (Evelina), Danny (Esther), Frank (Judy); sisters, Sherry (Paul), Karen (Henry); brother-in-law Dwayne, many nieces and nephews and other relatives in Canada and USA. He was predeceased by his parents To Lau and Kwan Cheung Der, his sister Judy and sister-in law Betty.
Ray was a loving husband, fun dad, and a cool uncle. He shared his love for travel, curling, golf, and cars among many other interests to all those who knew him. His diverse friends showed his kind and adventurous nature. He was loved and will always be loved.
A service will be held on Thursday, March 11 at 1 pm following a visitation on Wednesday. Attendance will be limited due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. A livestream of the service will be available.
Interment service will follow at Beechmount Cemetery (12420-104 Street)
