With heavy hearts and caring memories, we announce the passing of Pavao Kolonic. He was born in Croatia 91 years ago.
Pavao will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Slavka of 65 years–semicolon– daughter, Ljubica “Violet” (Antun) Vincekovic–semicolon– granddaughter, Irena (Lange) Grinevitch–semicolon– great-grandchildren, Caynen and Maya.
He was predeceased by his parents, Regina and Gjuro–semicolon– sister, Marica–semicolon– brothers, Ivica, Stevo, Dragec and Franjo.
A Prayer Service will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton. (Meridian Street can only be accessed heading SOUTH on Hwy 216 (Anthony Henday)–semicolon– – the access is 1 km south of the Sherwood Park Freeway on Hwy 216.)
Reverend Franjo Visaticki will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at Nativity of Mary Croatian Church, 10560-98 Street, Edmonton. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 4814 Meridian Street, Edmonton.
