
Following an adventurous and fulfilling life, Pat Collins, 81, died January 24, 2015 in Edmonton.
An avid golfer and sailor, he was also a businessman, husband, father and friend. Pat was predeceased by his wife Ada–semicolon– and his brothers, Chuck and Jim. Pat will be deeply missed by his sisters, Marion, Anne and Marie Collins–semicolon– daughters, Colleen, Kelly and Pam–semicolon– grandchildren, Kevan Dodd, Robin and Adam Sutherland–semicolon– son-in-law, Peter Sutherland–semicolon– as well as his brother and sisters-in-law, Peter and Mary Yanitski, Pauline Bartoshyk and their families.
Pat enjoyed the challenges of business. Over the years, he made many good friends as a salesman serving in Edmonton, central and northern Alberta, volunteering with the Edmonton Food Executives Club, ACT and Glengary Community League, and as a partner in Berdean Management. In his last years, he spent many happy hours with his fellow residents at St. Andrew’s Centre.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
