Dear Friends and Family of Pamela,
I was so sorry to hear of Pamela’s passing. I became acquainted with Pamela during the COVID pandemic as a community member in our neighbourhood offering to help with errands and groceries. Over these weekly grocery runs and through other encounters such as Christmas decorating, our friendship developed. It was clear from our many conversations that Pamela had lived a full and rich life with her parents, cousins, and friends. She spoke fondly of her career as a school teacher and piano instructor. She was especially enthusiastic about her devotion to music, festivals, and advancing young people in their musical pursuits. Lovely classical music was always playing at her home whenever I dropped by. Pamela was incredibly proud of the beautiful garden she had created over many years, and with good reason! We had many conversations about our shared love of gardening and dogs! I miss her company and am grateful to have known her – even for the short time, and in these difficult times of the pandemic.
Warmly,
Bernadette

To the Family and Friends of Pamela,
The Edmonton Music and Speech Arts Festival (Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival) is saddened by the passing of Pamela. She was a volunteer and donor to the Festival for many years. Her generosity made it possible for many children to continue with their lessons and, she helped enable the careers of many professional musicians who got their start at the Festival. We will always be grateful to her and to the Farmer Family.
She will be missed.

I was a neighbour of Pamela’s several years ago. It was a pleasure to visit with her when we met walking our dogs and to hear her stories. She did, indeed, have a beautiful garden, in which she took much pride. Pam always seemed such a vibrant person who was ready to take action and participate in many different activities. It is sad that she is gone from the world physically, although her presence and her actions while she was here made a difference in many peoples lives.

Pamela was a member of AGS for 30 years, and is fondly remembered as an active participant of Special Interest Groups such as the England Wales Group, and as a long term Library Volunteer at the Edmonton Branch. Her many friends appreciated her vitality, sense of fun, and her quick wit. She will be missed.

My deepest sympathy with the loss of Pam. We went back a long time when we taught fitness for the City ofEdmonton.
She also attended the Jasper Park Lodge getaway for Seniors, where we met again. She was a lovely and real lady!
Also condolences from Hai Dong who is the✂️ director of Westend Seniors, previously called ESSO. Which originally was established by Harry Farmer, her father.
May she Rest In Peace.💜
