Pam was born on July 22, 1952 in Birmingham, England to Bill and Marjorie Taylor. She had one brother but he died at birth. Her father lives in Birmingham and her mother passed away some time ago. Pam became a medical secretary in the era when there were no electrical typewriters or computers. She married Paul and they had two children: Caroline and Sarah. Caroline was three weeks old when they came to Canada. The meaning of the word Pamela is “all sweetness”. Everyone who knew her will agree that this is a very apt description of Pam Green and her trademark smile. She was an incredibly courageous, strong and kind woman. She was a role model of integrity and love for family. She was proud of her two daughters: Caroline and Sarah and they meant the world to her. It was her devotion to her daughters, her three grandchildren: Kade, Zayda and Carter and her sons-in-law: Matt and Conrad, which allowed her to remain optimistic and positive until the very end, despite the cruel disease of leukemia which finally brought her life to a premature end on April 1, 2016. Her last communication was that she wanted the whole family to go on vacation together to Saint Martin in 2017 and this is our plan. She loved the clean white sand, turquoise water and sunshine of the Caribbean. She wants us today to celebrate her life with a party, playing her favourite singers, Adele and The Beatles and not to be sad. We will all miss her very much.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations in Pam’s name may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, 2020-10 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2M 3M2

I am deeply sorry for the loss of your wife and mother. She was a very special person whom I was extremely lucky to have known. She will always hold a special place in my heart. The service today was beautiful and I felt so much love in the room. She loved you all so much.

Words cannot express how very sorry we were to hear of the passing of your precious wife, mother and grandmother. We are deeply saddened at the loss of Pam, this beautiful, strong and courageous woman who fought so valiantly to stay with her beloved family. Even as she struggled with her own recovery, Pam often send words of encouragement to Mike and me as we battled with our own health issues. What a true warrior she was and so much fun, her beautiful smile will always be remembered and she will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
