On May 6, 2015, Michelle Zwarych of Edmonton passed away at the age of 94 years. Michelle was born in 1921 in Poland and came to Edmonton on December 25th, 1948 with two small children.
Michelle is survived by her two daughters, Stella (Rick) Rowswell of Sherwood Park and Louise (Halincia) (Ken) Remeika of Sherwood Park–semicolon– five grandchildren, Michelle (Dwayne) Anker, Bobbi (John) Pavao, Sean (Kerri) Remeika, Chris (Kellie) Remeika and Curtis Remeika–semicolon– 9 great-grandchildren, Connor, Kennedy, Tiago, Cruz, Hayden, Austin, Byron, Jacob and Emma–semicolon– and niece, Emilia Batowski and family.
She was predeceased by her husband Tomasz and her son Chester.
Prayers will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. Reverend Andrzej Sowa will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Holy Rosary Parish, 11485-106 Street, Edmonton at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
