On Wednesday, December 23, 2015, Reverend Maurice McMahon passed away at the age of 93 years.
Father McMahon is survived by the members of his religious community, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate–semicolon– sister, Mary-Ann Gallant–semicolon– brother, Frank (Rosemary)–semicolon– nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Joan (nee Malhiot)–semicolon– and sisters, Ellen Caruthers, Joan Paradis, Noella Milne and Sr. Patricia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. at St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Interment will follow at the Oblate Cemetery in St. Albert, AB.

Father McMahon was a good friend to my grandfather Jack C. McNeil and my father Neil J. McNeil. I fondly remember his visits to our home as a boy. He was a kind and gentle man with a heart for everyone he met. Rest with a God Maurice. You deserved it. With much love and respect Neil M McNeil.
