On Saturday, June 9, 2018 Maurice Joseph Carson of St. Albert, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years, after a short courageous battle with cancer. Maurice was born on August 2, 1938 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Maurice will be lovingly remembered by his best friend, soulmate and beloved wife of 42 years, Margaret “Maggie” Carson as well as family members in Edmonton and its surrounding areas, Calgary, Victoria, BC and England. Maurice was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Jane Carson as well as his sister Shirley (Carson) Drake formerly of Liverpool, England.
Maurice requested no service, with a family gathering to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 14510 142 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6V 1H9. He was an active member of the Temple (Centennial) Lodge #167 and the Al Shamal Shriners for many years, as well as a member of the Elite Motor Corps.
