Surrounded by her family, Mary passed away peacefully on February 12, 2013 at 93 years of age.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael, Jane Ann (David) Omar–semicolon– grandson, Jake as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Mary is predeceased by her husband, Howard.
A Prayer Vigil will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 8:15 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 12810 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
The family wishes to express a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Edmonton General Palliative Care for their care and compassion during our mother’s stay.

I am sorry to hear that my very dear friend, Mary, has passed away.
Mary and I met around 1952 when we both sang in the opera. I was a soprano and Mary was an alto.
Mary was a special friend, always smiling and full of kind words. I enjoyed her visit to Vancouver a few years ago when we went up Grouse Mountain together.
She shall be dearly missed by her family and friends.
