My condolences to Mary’s family. Mary lived across the street from my mom and I on Belmont Dr. I also knew her mom, Fran, through work and a church choir. Remembering Celeste as a wee girl, prayers will be offered for you and your sister along with your whole family. R.I.P. Mary. 🙏 Lorette (Lema)

    To the Schuchard family,
Mary was a faithful mother, daughter, sister and aunt. Her cheerful and warm sense of welcome and support to all was a blessing. May she rest in peace and know that her spirit lives on.

Mary has been a dear friend since our school days in Medford, Oregon. I’ve shared this sad news in postings for our classmates and many have responded with very fond remembrances. Bless you my friend…

Dear Frank, Carol, Susan, Larry, and Martha, and your families.

The last time I saw you musical girls together was at the Bourbon Room for one of your birthdays and Martha, you were dualing pianos. Mary-Lou invited me to join and I am grateful for that! Your Mary is now singing with your family in Heaven, possibly outdoing the angels! Sending you comfort and strength, and knowing your loving family, many songs will be sung. I remember when your mom sang and led us to sing “You are My Sunshine” at your dad’s celebration of life. Thank you for connecting Earth with Heaven!

Mary was a staunch and generous friend. We met in 1969 when we were usherettes at the Capital Theatre. Her sense of humour and luminous smile attracted people, wherever she went. We will miss her. Love always Shirley Bergen. Amy Watson also sends her love.
