It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, nana, great-nana, wife, sister and friend, Mary Biddle, of St. Albert, Alberta, on April 12, 2022 at the age of 79 years. We are grateful for her peaceful passing with family by her side.
Mary will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her loving husband Len of 58 years; her son Stephen (Desiree) of St. Albert; her daughter Jacqui (Ken) of Edmonton; her much cherished grandchildren Jessica (Elton), Daniel (Julia), Shaelynn and Christopher and her great-granddaughters Lily and Tessa; twin sister Joan (George) Potter of Reading, England, brother Norman Boyd of Reading, England, many adored nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Winnifred and Stanley Boyd of Reading, England.
She will be remembered for her generous and caring nature and never-ending love for her family. Her family were her pride and joy. She was a role model to everyone who knew her to never give up and enjoy and live life to its fullest. Her positivity, strength, courage, determination and perseverance were truly inspirational.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no funeral. A celebration of life will be held by immediate family and close friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, Alberta.
Though her smile is gone forever and her hand we cannot touch, still we have so many memories of the one we loved so much. Her memory is our keepsake which we’ll never part. God has her in his keeping, we have her in our hearts.

Dear Len,
We were very sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. Grief never ends…but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, or a lack of faith. It is the price of love. Death takes the body. God takes the soul. Our minds hold the memories, our hearts keep the love. Our faith lets us know we will meet again.
With fond memories,
Paul & Linda Wiggins
