On November 20th, 2018, Marsh Markowich passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and their love at the age of 84. Marsh was born in Vegreville, Alberta and later moved to Edmonton with his family. There, he met his wife Doreen with whom he raise 6 children. He was a successful businessman and was also passionate about golf and hockey. He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking them on vacations to the Rockies to ski and to Hawaii for some sun. Marsh was a talented carpenter and, in his earlier years, was a skilled hockey player.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doreen–semicolon– and brother, Mike.
He will be lovingly remembered by his 6 children, Peggi (Tim), Michael, Barbara (Ken), Penny, Jackie (Todd), and Nancy (Allan). He will be dearly missed by his 14 grandchildren, Lisa (Richard), Samantha, Nicole, Patrick (Sarah), Benjamin, Megan, William. Sarah, Meg, Jaclyn, Samuel, Riley, John, and Colby. He will also be missed by his sister, Sophie (Al)–semicolon– and brother, Dave (Lorraine).
A Celebration of his Life will be held at Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South Chapel (4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton, AB) on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 4:00p.m.
