On July 2, 2011, Mark Owchar of Edmonton passed away at the age of 51 years.
Mark will be remembered by his brother, Wayde–semicolon– sister, Debra Mitchell–semicolon– niece Adrienne (Yanis) Kravets–semicolon– great niece, Marlo Kravets and great nephew, Evan Kravets.
He was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine and father, Walter.
Mark in his younger years enjoyed playing a lot of hockey. A favorite time was spent with his special dog, Max going for very long walks along the river. Most of all he enjoyed being around and spending time with friends and family.

I want to offer my prayers and support for Mark\’s family and friends.
I experienced Mark as having a passion and intensity for God that went deeper and beyond the illness.
Mark had many struggles and difficulties in his life but his desire for God and God\’s love for him was very evident and for this I give thanks.
I thank God and Mark for showing us such courage in living a life where there was so much suffering. Perhaps all the suffering Mark encountered will make his reunion with the peace/joy/love of God that much sweeter.
