It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Marie Large, of Cold Lake, at the age of 75.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Paul (Linda); grandchildren, Alex and Kaitlyn; brothers, Howard (Christine) and Brian; her sister, Susan; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, John Patterson; brothers: Kenneth, Albert, Arthur, Ronald, Michael, and Leonard; her sister, Peggy; and her parents, Albert and Elsie.
At Marie’s request, no formal service will be held at this time. The family will be planning a Memorial Gathering which will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of Holyrood Extendicare long-term care community for their care and compassion.

Hi Marie,
I guess you are feeding the Angels! You worked for me in Cold Lake on the Base in the 90’s. I could tell right away that you were a fellow Brit and knew how to work hard. During the summer months we were exceedingly busy feeding the cadets and Maple Flag International exercise military members.
