BENINCASA, Maria Grazia
November 26, 1930 – April 6, 2018
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our cherished mother and grandmother, Maria Grazia Benincasa on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Maria will be forever treasured by her children, Louis and Catherine Benincasa–semicolon– grandchildren, Christopher Thomas (Megan) Benincasa McMorran and Caterina Grazia (Trevor) Benincasa McMorran–semicolon– siblings, Teresa Tavano and Antonio (Rosetta) Sacco–semicolon– sisters-in-law, Fatima Sacco, Aurora Sacco, and Titina Benincasa–semicolon– as well as many other dear family members and friends.
Maria was predeceased by her loving husband, Tommaso–semicolon– her parents, Giuseppe & Maria Antonia Sacco–semicolon– siblings, Tommaso, Luigi, Maria Giuseppa, Angelica and Domenico.
She was the essence of her name “Grace,” and we will carry her in our hearts forever.
For those who wish to pay their respects, a Prayer Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Santa Maria Goretti Parish, 9110 110 Avenue NW Edmonton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the same location at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton.
