Passed away peacefully in Edmonton on August 18th, 2015 of kidney failure. Marguerite was born in Beaumont to Amedée Juneau (predeceased) and Juliette Juneau (née Demers).
Left to cherish her memory are her 2 children, Yvonne (Miguel) Marcoux and Paul (Sharon) Houle–semicolon– and her 4 grandchildren, Patric, Natalie, Ophelia and Isabelle.
She is survived by her siblings, Andre (Doris) Juneau, Claude Juneau, Therese (Lloyd) Brazeau–semicolon– and many nieces and nephews.
Marguerite’s smile was beautiful and would brighten anyone’s day. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing and being a stay-at-home Mom. Marguerite humbly and wholeheartedly worked at the WCB, Morinville Public Library, and the Morinville and Innisfree Post Offices.
After being diagnosed with Systemic Scleroderma, she received a lifesaving gift of a double lung transplant and got 6 more precious years. The family would like to thank those who sign their donor cards, donate blood, and the wonderful staff at the University of Alberta Lung Transplant Program.
Marguerite lived her life with kindness, resilience, resourcefulness, enduring hope and courageously followed her heart. May she rest in gentle peace.
Cremation has taken place and a Prayer Service, presided by Fr. Martin J Carroll, will take place at Rosedale Villa Chapel, 2nd Floor on Saturday August 29 at 3:00, 10107-111 Street, Edmonton.
