
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mrs. Marguerite Cecile Benoit of St. Albert on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the age of 100 years.
She was born on December 13, 1920, to Thomas Ludovic Pelletier and Yvonne Morneau in Vimy, Alberta. Marguerite Benoit raised her family in Vegreville, prior to moving to Edmonton, Alberta.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her loving daughters, Sylvia (Vernon) Cooper and Corinne (Georges) Blouin; sons, Remie (Wendy) Benoit and Claude (Wendy) Benoit; 10 grandchildren: Shawn, Jason, Jennifer, Lisa, Cherie, Andy, Stephanie, Kristoffer, Jacqueline and Samantha; two sisters, Ann Marie (Del) Ouellette and Adrienne Hauck as well as 17 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Benoit was predeceased by her husband, Camille Benoit; son, Daniel (Jitka) Benoit; five sisters and two brothers.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and support staff at Covenant Health Youville, St Albert for their outstanding care, compassion and support.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held with Father Ignacy Warias, OMI officiating.
A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.
