On November 30, 2011, Margaret Child of St. Albert, AB, passed away at the age of 80.
She is survived by her two children, Bruce Child of Surrey, B.C. and Peggy Child (Marlowe Harrowby) of Edmonton, AB–semicolon– along with her three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Margaret was actively involved with the St. Albert United Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved being surrounded by her family and many friends. She also enjoyed her Friday afternoon bridge game at the St. Albert Senior Citizens’ Club.
Thanks to all of the staff at the Palliative Care Unit 9Y of the Edmonton General for their exceptional care during her stay.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., at the St. Albert United Church, 20 Green Grove Drive, St. Albert, AB.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the St. Albert United Church.
