With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Jean Husband, on October 17, 2020 at the age of 90. Margaret is survived by her brother and wife, Fred and Ruby Husband, and nephews Jim Garbutt (Loretta), Bob Husband (Barb), Brian Husband (Helen), niece Donna Williams (Dave), and several great nephews and nieces. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Walter and Julia, and her sister, Dorothy.
Margaret was half of the first set of twins born at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and took great joy in reminding her twin brother, Fred, that she was the more mature, and eldest by one hour, of the two of them. She grew up in the Highlands district and had careers as a piano teacher, an office manager at London Life, and as a real estate agent at Royal Lepage. Margaret forged lifelong friendships in each career.
She was active at MacDougall United Church in the choir, congregation, and participating on church boards.
Margaret took great pride and joy in the lives and accomplishments of her nephews and niece. She also took great interest in staying in touch with extended family members across Canada and an enthusiastic family historian.
A private celebration of Margaret’s life is planned for family only

I knew Margaret through her career in real estate. I as fellow Realtor, I always remember her as being such a kind person. She was not your typical sales person, that’s what made her special. She was a gentle soul who had a wonderful career and I’m sure had many many clients who will remember her fondly, as well as colleagues like myself.
