
It is with profound sadness that the family of Madeline Schultz announce her peaceful passing on January 23, 2023 at the age of 83.
Madeline will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children, Max (Fran), Charles, Jerry, David, Robert (Jenn), Ben (Nancy), Cindy (Darren) Cote, Marie (Simon) Horn, Lucille (Paul) MacInnis, Greg (Diane), and Joe; 30 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Stan Hynes, Wally Hynes, Anna Hickey, Mary A. Zabriski, Elizabeth Hynes, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Matthew Richards; sister, Irene, and brothers, Ray and Rueben.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish, 9850 – 148 Street NW, Edmonton. Cremation will follow.
If desired, donations in memory of Madeline may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, or a charity of one’s choice.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Sturgeon Hospital and Foyer Lacombe Hospice for their care and compassion.
