She has many nieces and nephews here and abroad, as well as extended family members and friends, all of whom will miss her.
Lillian was predeceased by Benedict (husband), Ann and Stephen (children), Aubrey and Eugene (brothers) and Francis and Louisa (parents).
Lillian was born in Belgaum, India on November 26, 1935. She lived in many places during her childhood because her father worked on the railway. Adapting to many places helped in her adventures with her husband, Benedict. They lived in Bahrain, Belgium and settled in Edmonton where they raised six children. She was a kind and compassionate person who loved children, family and friends. We will deeply miss Lillian’s gentle loving presence.
Mom was very grateful for all the care and compassion she received from family friends, We Care (homecare) as well as the doctors, nurses and other staff members at the University Hospital, especially her dialysis units (5C2, 5C4) and Pastoral Care, Reverend Eamonn and Molly, Lillian’s family thanks you as well.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to: The University of Alberta Foundation- Northern Alberta Renal Program.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Parish, 9040 – 95 Ave, Edmonton. 95 Ave is closed, please use residential streets.
